One of the great things about being a member is receiving invites to our monthly dinner meetings. These meetings are held at alternating locations within the County. You can enjoy a catered dinner and socialize with other members and folks interested in the unique history of Calaveras County. Dinner is followed by a program with a talk or presentation by an expert regarding a topic related to the history of the County.

The member dinners have been a long tradition of CCHS, dating back to 1952. In recent years these dinners have become quite popular and are always a good time for all.

Dinner meetings are always the 4th Thursday of the month, except November which is the 3rd Thursday. We do not host meetings in August and December.
